Halloween is creeping closer, and you know what that means… Macaroni KID Winter Haven-Davenport is bringing back our Boo Baskets! 🎃👻
We had so much fun spreading a little Halloween magic last year that we just couldn't resist doing it again.
If you're new to the Boo Basket fun, here's how it works: We put together festive baskets filled with Halloween goodies and surprises, then give them to local families as a little unexpected treat. The goal is simple — spread some Halloween cheer, make someone smile, and maybe inspire them to pass the fun along!
🎃 What Exactly Is a Boo Basket?
Think of it as a Halloween version of a surprise gift basket.
A Boo Basket might include treats, toys, games, crafts, Halloween goodies, family-friendly surprises, and other fun finds.
👻 Macaroni KID Is Booing Again!
Last year, we had so much fun putting together Boo Baskets. Seeing the excitement from the families who received them made all the planning, shopping, packing, and delivering completely worth it.
So we're doing it again!
This year's baskets will be packed with Halloween fun, and we'll be giving them out to families throughout the Winter Haven and Davenport area.
We can't wait to see where our little Boo Baskets turn up!

You can make and give away your own Boo Baskets, too!
Grab a basket, bucket, Halloween bag, or even a reusable tote and fill it with a few fun surprises. You don't need to spend a lot; the thought behind it is what matters.
Some easy ideas include:
- 🎃 Halloween stickers or temporary tattoos
- 👻 Glow sticks
- 🍬 Candy or other treats
- 🖍️ Coloring books and crayons
- 🧩 Small games or puzzles
- 🧸 Little Halloween toys
- 📚 A Halloween-themed book
- 🧁 Baking supplies for a spooky family treat
- 🎨 A simple Halloween craft
- 🍿 Movie-night snacks
- 🕯️ Cozy fall goodies for the grown-ups
You can make your basket kid-focused, family-focused, allergy-friendly, or completely customized for the person you're surprising.
There are no hard-and-fast rules. A Boo Basket is simply a fun way to say, "I thought of you!"
